This is a set screw that is meant to plug the overstop travel hole when the OEM plastic piece is removed from the aluminum or steel frame M&P 2.0
It comes with a nylon thread locking patch and ready for install.
Black oxide alloy steel
This is installed with the backstrap removed, and the rear plastic pieces removed.
It is easiest to install when the sear housing is removed and the plastic piece that it sits in removed also.

Stops carbon from getting on fingers
Removed the original plug when I put an apex trigger on my HD. During heavy practice, I’d get carbon build up on my middle and trigger finger. This is a cheap and very effective solution.
