CARVER designed "heavy" Stainless Steel Open Magwell. Now available for all new M&P 2.0 Full Size, L, Pro, Core & Competitor models.

This magwell will NOT fit the Compact models. Add an additional 3.8 ounces to your 2.0 M&P. Decrease the speed of your magazine reloads with a larger "Big Mouth" to funnel the magazine into your M&P. These magwells are made of top quality stainless steel. Each magwell includes an insert to allow you to use any size backstrap on your M&P.

No modifications needed to install on your M&P 98% of the time. Sometimes the length of the receiver is slightly out of spec. When this occurs, the magwell will not fit properly against the receiver and stock magazines may not seat properly. When the receiver is out of spec and too long, it will not allow the magwell to seat high enough to allow the magazine to lock into place.

To resolve this issue, you may need to do the following: Remove the magwell Use a medium to fine grit sandpaper, laying it on a flat surface Holding the sandpaper with your left hand and the receiver with your right hand (visa versa if left handed), slide the receiver, holding it square on the sandpaper, about 3-4 times.

If you are not removing any polymer, you may need to add more pressure when sliding Reinstall the magwell and test your magazine seating If the magazine doesn't seat but almost seats, you may need to repeat #3 If the locking lug screw of the magwell does not sit unimpeded in the tool hole slight enlargement of the hole may be needed. Excellent for use in IPSC and Steel Shooting.

The "Big Mouth" will work with Hi-Cap stock magazines and TF 140MM and 170MM, CARVER 140MM and 170MM plus TTI 140MM and 170MM Mag Extensions. 10 round stock magazines will not work with this magwell. They have a different configuration than the Hi-Cap
