ATHENA

The Athena slide is the best performance upgrade you can provide your M&P on the market - turning your minivan into a sports car.

ACCURACY

We start with a match grade slide that is tighter toleranced to the frame rails. This provides a superior lockup while shooting. Not only is the operation smoother, it's going to far more capable of better accuracy.

We continue the demand of accuracy by combining this slide with the best barrel on the market for the M&P platform: Apex Tactical Specialties gunsmith fitted barrels. We hand fit them to the slide and a locking block which gets sent with the slide. We have seen 1-2in groups at 25 yards with Blazer Brass. 

RECOIL

The match grade slide & barrel are then milled and laser ported with a proprietary 7-port design. The top window for the porting is chamfered to create a beveled look. This creates an extremely flat shooting pistol with predictable tracking. 

The ported nature of this slide demands support. It's given just that with our custom recoil guide rod assembly. It's calibrated with a perfectly tuned spring rate to provide reliable feeding and a flat shooting setup EVERYTIME.

RELIABILITY 

Blending performance with reliability is a tricky act - one which we sought to perfect.

After tens of thousands of rounds of testing, we culminated a parts kit to solve the only known reliability issue the M&P platform has: light primer strikes.

Our premium Assisted Ignition Directed System (A.I D.S.) kit is installed inside which provides a positive ignition of primers without fail. 

A positive byproduct of the A.I.D.S. kit being installed is a lighter trigger pull being translated to the end user. 

WE THEN SHOOT EACH SLIDE. A LOT.

We have a disclaimer on our slides and complete setups that we shoot each product before it leaves our hands. 

Our in-house quality control standard is THREE FULL MAGAZINES. Which means you receive an already fired slide. 

Many times, we'll shoot several more magazines through each setup before it ships to you.

We have this practice for one reason: We care.

Pride in our work is evident through testing and evaluation, part choice, assembly, machining, coating, and quality control. We understand more than most how important it is that a firearm operates when needed. 

STYLE

The slide is professionally Cerakoted in one of our color options. We provide an option to have your barrel Cerakoted a certain color to provide some contrast of your own choosing.

The windowed cuts in the slide flow with each color option seamlessly. The serrations in the slide are not only simple and elegant, they're some of the most aggressively cut serrations on the market. Dainty hands need not apply here.

Our custom designed and manufactured aluminum backplate is installed to button up the tail end of the package. 

PURPOSE

With only one goal in mind, this slide package was developed to dominate. Period.

This is the proverbial line in the sand. 

We kept true to the ancient goddess of war and wisdom while designing and testing this slide package. 

The entire package is wrapped up with Ameriglo 2XL optic height steel sights. The front sight has an orange tritium outlay. The rear sight is completely blacked out - which allows picking up processing speeds to acquire a dot within an optic system.

The slide is milled to accept RMR footprint optics or optic plate adapters. This standardized footprint allows a myriad of mounting capabilities for the end user.
