Aluminum Shocktube Operation Board

These are just like our Shocktube Operation Board Mini's, except they are constructed of 5052 powder coated aluminum and without the sheet explosive cutouts in the middle. (metal board = spark potential with cutting) 

Each version will have the option of including a carrying case with your purchase, which we recommend.

The 6x4 will have four mounting positions for legs

The 6x8 will have six mounting positions for the legs

The 8x14 will have eight mounting positions for the legs

Why is this important to the end user? Because it allows the user to create differently sized bundles of shocktube to carry on their person. It also allows a much larger bundles of shocktube to be fashioned in a neat manner. 

These are made to order with a 2-week lead time.

The legs are produced for 30ft/40ft dual-primed shocktube firing systems(6x4 boards). Larger boards can handle larger bundles.

The mini and aluminum Shocktube Operation Board (or S.O.B.) was developed in conjunction with Quadrant 2 Critical Solutions

This was born out of necessity for a more sensible approach to creating a bundle of shocktube for energetic breaching. The days of creating a bundle in a "figure 8" method with your hand are over!

Each board can assemble, and also break down, in seconds. The legs thread into the board, and the tops of the legs are held together by bridge connectors (6x4 configurations only). This creates a stable platform to assemble a shocktube bundle quickly and neatly - and repeatedly. The bundle size created using the 6x4 board is equivalent to an average male hand.

The mini SOB board (separate product page) is produced from polymer and nylon materials to allow the user to apply a utility knife without the worry of creating a dangerous spark. Each square, and even outside the square, equates to an exact measurement for cutting Primasheet or Detasheet to desired quantities.

Each mini SOB will ship in a breacher bag that allows for the organization of the SOB and other smaller items, as well as provisions to strap it to a table/backpack/cruiser.
