M&P Shield Slide machining

This service is for both the Shield, Shield 4in Performance Center, Shield plus, and Shield X slides.

Our Shield slide and barrel package can turn these pocket guns into formidable carry rigs. 

OEM optic mounting cuts can be corrected from the Smith & Wesson factory. Many of the optic cuts coming from the factory have had incorrect "sloped" optic cuts that don't allow a proper mounting of aftermarket optics, unless it's a Crimson Trace (yuck). Worry no more, we can fix this slight issue. This retains the factory RMSc footprint for optics.

Slide milling and laser porting the barrel with our custom shaped 5-port (or 7-port on PC & Shield X) is probably what you came here for. This produces the most recoil reduction of the Shield platform on the market today. Recoil impulse is difficult to translate to customers, but with this porting the return of the sighting system is much faster and more predictable. This is achieved using the OEM recoil system.

The in-line porting allows air to be pushed in a predictable manner every time - which is directly centerline of the pistol. This differs from compensators....

Compensators typically have a large mouth at the end of barrel, which can create directional pushing bias from round to round. Porting is holster compatible with every holster on the market, and compensators are typically not.

The slide can also be milled for aggressive textured serrations on each side. This allows the user to grab the slide for press checks or simple battery operation of the slide with ease, even with inclement weather or adverse conditions. This service is available only to slides not with OEM serrations.

Front mouth cuts can be milled on the very end of the slide near the barrel to give it a little flare, but it's become a favorite indexing point for many during press checks. 

Combining this setup with our custom logo backplate, which features a 3D flashbang, lets everyone know you have a slide from a company who knows the M&P platform, and it was built correctly. These come standard on every slide we customize.

We can tie the package together with our standard color variations of H Series Cerakote colors. 

This setup will come with an OEM recoil system and striker combination if you're purchasing a slide through us. They will be test fired and ready to swap onto your frame without modification.
