Breaching Sling v2

We were unable to find anything commercially sold that fit the bill for these tools. We tried two companies' products that put an effort into churching these up, and this still ended up being the best option for us.

The ideal breaching sling will be stowed tight to the body when not in use - but stretch when needing to breach a door. Nylon webbing simply cannot do this.

These are assembled using the highest grade components we were able to locate. Simple product - overbuilt.

These can be fashioned into a full loop to make a traditional "single point" style sling as well.

Homeland Security Investigations' SRT team required an HK clasp when they had us assemble their breaching slings. We are now offering this as an option going forward.

-3/8 Marine-grade shock cord (flexible bungee material) The 1000 Denier Dacron polyester cover is thick and long-lasting, repelling water and resisting abrasion better than nylon. Made from top-quality first extruded latex rubber, this bungee has a consistent 100% stretch and high modulus that won't lose its elasticity like many other cords on the market.

-Connections covered by high-grade adhesive lined shrink tube

-Your choice of a 2.3" zinc alloy lobster clasp, HK clasp, or upgraded stainless steel lobster clasp. All connections are coated for corrosion resistance.

-Marine grade carabiner with 150lb tensile strength and flat profile.

-1in nylon webbing with 1100lbs tensile strength. 

-KAM Tri-glide for 1in webbing - ITW Nexus 

-Metal triangle D-ring zinc coated for corrosion resistance.

-Includes two 7.5" one wrap velcro strips to secure shock cord to your shoulder strap.

-Fabric sleeve to cover the lobster claw to prevent damage to your other gear and provide noise mitigation. 

Shock Cord measures 32" from loop to loop, providing versatility for adjustment.

The carabiner hooks onto a molle loop on the back of a plate carrier. The caribiner was chosen due to its flat profile and proven 150lb tensile strength design. If it's being run behind packs or breacher panels, it will be less obstructive.

The sling is then routed up the back of the plate carrier and ran through the two included one wrap velcro strips, which will attach to your shoulder strap of the plate carrier.

The nylon webbing can be threaded through the sling loop of the shotgun. The endcaps go onto the ends of the nylon, preventing unintentional releasing from the shotgun.

The lobster clasp allows the user to quickly unhook from the rig, also allowing the user to leave the sling attached to their plate carrier. This design has proven to be less problematic with accidental activations that would release the breaching shotgun.

These have been fielded for over a year with great success and several revisions have been made to perfect these for the end user.
