The Breacher Admin Panel (B.A.P.)
A solution to an ever-evolving field where every breach, every BREACHER, and every mission set is different.
We typically slim down normal items or remove them altogether to make it easier to carry the array of gear we may potentially need to access. The aggravation of adapting a mag placard to fit something it shouldn't, or running super slick and not having an essential piece of kit, is no longer an issue.
We created this as a modular pouch to allow you to access your essential pieces without digging around super low on a belt, reaching around in your dump pouch, or relying on a teammate to hand you something from your back panel. We also wanted to create this slim enough to attach to the front of a mag placard without being cumbersome, but wide enough to carry a wedge, firing device, or a bundle of shocktube. This is a balancing act.
With a hook and loop lid that folds into the pouch and secures with inner-lined velcro, you are able to run this in an open-top or closed-top configuration. This allows you to carry things for quicker access, items that would be too large for a lidded pouch, or a quickly accessible magazine, taser, etc.. (inner pouches not included)
The backside is equipped with laser-cut molle and the entirety of the pouch is manufactured from Brookwood Squadron right here in the United States. Each side has 3 vertical molle slots for mounting shocktube bundles, small linear charges, or a tourniquet using the included shock cord.
Pouch dimensions are roughly 6x2in
Pairing this with items that make kit work for the end user, instead of them fighting their kit, is a simple methodology: Let you all choose what ships with it and what does not.
We are offering the availability to mount this to a laser-cut Brookewood molle panel with integrated standardized QASM male buckles, which clip into most plate carriers. It allows the end-user to essentially create their own breacher placard to hotswap for breaching purposes. Set this up correctly, and it will likely become your primary placard. This allows two full rows to remain unused when attaching the BAP to the panel.
Adding an M81 Dual Initiator Couple can be beneficial considering the amount of hook and loop inside and out. Affix it to velcro on the inside or outside, flap open or closed, or affix it with the included bungee. If you add a retention lanyard carabiner to the entire setup, it can hold the easy-to-lose items to the pouch, inside the pouch, or elsewhere.
If you wish to dual purpose this as a ballistic breaching application pouch, the availability of adding a 6 round shotgun card will fall within the limitational borders of the velcro on the front.
If packing your notebook, batteries, candy, or Zyn pouches is of concern, we will be adding the availability of pairing our small zipper pouch. It also was made to fit perfectly within the borders of the velcro on the front. This fits whether the lid is in an open-top or closed-top configuration, by moving the pouch down a quarter inch to allow the lid to engage the hook and loop.
Dropping pouches inside or out from your favorite manufacturer is expected, so we wanted to forgo reinventing the wheel for some of those tertiary aspects. We have used several Ferro inserts for carrying different items, amongst other companies.
The 5.56 mag pouch with a shotshell holder is constructed from a laminate material that is naturally non-adhesive for breacher bandaids. Stick your tape onto it, and remove it easily as needed. No more fighting the tape, ruining velcro fields, or messing your cargo pockets up.
Laminate shotgun cards are constructed of the same material with a silicone insert to keep shells in place.
We will be building a profile on all of the numerous configurations we have come up with using this pouch, and make sure we put many of them on here. We will also be compiling pictures on our social media, under a tab labeled "B.A.P." located below our profile picture.
We further encourage users to tag us in their social media posts, sharing their configurations. This is not to garner attention, but it can allow us to share ideas with a mainstream platform. Many of your ideas may just help someone in their pursuit of the perfect breach.
Better breach equals saved lives.
